Join us for a fun morning of Catawba River kayaking or inner tubing on Saturday, September 9th! If you’d like to socialize after we finish our adventure, we can gather for lunch and drinks, too.
Meet us at put-in location at 10 AM. Your event leaders will be wearing Charlotte Ski & Snowboard Shirts with a big snowflake on the back. Some of us will need to drive 4 miles away to the take-out location. We’ll leave several cars there for shuttling to and from the put-in and take-out locations.

What Should You Bring? Come prepared with a kayak and paddle or inner tube, PFD, sunscreen, bug spray, water, snacks, sunglasses, hat, a change of dry clothing. If you plan to join us at the restaurant afterward, bring cash (or plastic) to pay for your food and drinks. PFDs are required — no exceptions.
RSVP Required & Weather-Permitting: Please RSVP so we know who’s coming. More importantly, we’ll be able to give you a heads up if we need to cancel due to rain. As of 9/7, there is a 71% chance of rain on Saturday. We’ll make a weather call by 6 pm Friday night and notify you via email. If you RSVP and decide not to come, call one of our event leaders so we don’t wait on you.
Guest Policy: Club members are welcome to bring a guest, but they will need to sign a waiver. There will be copies on hand at the put-in location.
